The Illinois Police Officers’ Pension Investment Fund (IPOPIF), with $9.39 billion of assets under management, generated an 8.2 percent return for the fiscal year that ended on June 30, slightly below its benchmark of 8.8 percent.
IPOPIF has 5.6 percent ($529.4 million) of its portfolio allocated toward real estate, slightly below its 6 percent target allocation for the asset class.
