by Reg Clodfelter

The $34.8 billion Illinois Municipal Retirement System has retained Callan Associates as its investment consultant, subject to legal diligence, completing a search it began on May 15, 2014. Callan beat out six other finalists to retain the position it has held since Jan. 1, 2010.

Callan’s current contract terminates Dec. 31, 2014, and its new contract, which begins the next day, will run through year-end 2019.
