Illinois Municipal commits $25m to infrastructure

The $42.4 billion Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund’s (IMRF) has approved a commitment up to $25 million to JLC Infrastructure Fund I, according to meeting notes.

Now, IMRF is seeking a contractual relationship between itself and the selected firm for the purpose of providing IMRF with diversified North American or global, multi-sector unlisted infrastructure equity investment management services.

More details regarding the RFP were not disclosed.

JLC Infrastructure Fund was formed in 2015 by Loop Capital and Magic Johnson Enterprises to invest in infrastructure projects in the United States
