Hy24, a French hydrogen investor, is considering committing up to $115 million to become the anchor and lead equity investor in ATOME’s green hydrogen-based fertilizer project in Villeta, Paraguay, according to multiple reports.
The investment would support the development of a facility that produces green hydrogen through electrolysis powered by hydropower, which will be converted into green calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN) fertilizer.
