by Andrea Zander

C Capital, a firm started by Hong Kong real estate tycoon Adrian Cheng, has plans to raise $500 million for blockchain assets, credit and private equity, investing over the next 18 months, despite crypto prices bottoming out, according to Bloomberg. To reach its goal, the firm is marketing a $200 million blockchain fund and plans to gather about $300 million to invest in private-equity and private-credit strategies next year.

C Ventures was cofounded in 2017 by Cheng, CEO of New World Development Company Limited; Clive Ng and Ben Cheng.
