The Holyoke (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is looking to invest in a value-add/opportunistic open-end and/or closed-end real estate portfolio, according to a request for proposal (RFP) filed on the website of investment consultant Segal Marco Advisors, who is assisting with the search.
The mandate will be for $20 million.
The Holyoke Contributory Retirement System is one of 105 contributory retirement systems within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, according to the pension fund’s website. The retirement system is funded by an annual appropriation from city departments and employee contributions. These funds are invested in fixed income, domestic and international equities, commodities, private equity, and real estate.
The deadline to submit proposals is Jan. 8.
