Hilco Redevelopment Partners (HRP) is well into decommissioning a former refinery site in South Philadelphia and expects to break ground on the first vertical construction in second quarter 2022.
HRP acquired the site of the 150-year-old PES refinery in June 2020 and has embarked on a 13- to 15-year project that will transform the location into an environmentally conscious, state-of-the-art economic engine for the region.
According to HRP, the site will feature ecommerce, light manufacturing, life sciences, warehousing and distribution, retail, commercial, rail and marine facilities.
