Heitman has completed two major acquisitions in Fukuoka, Japan, comprising a flagship logistics facility and a nine-asset residential portfolio, underscoring the firm’s growing commitment to the Greater Fukuoka and Kyushu markets.
Heitman acquired the Tosu Central Distribution Center, located within one of Kyushu’s prime logistics hubs, in what marks the largest single-asset logistics transaction in the greater Fukuoka market. The investment was executed on behalf of Heitman-managed funds with strategic capital partners Mitsubishi HC Capital Realty Inc. and SMFL MIRAI Partners Company, Limited, a strategic subsidiary of Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing Company, Limited.
