Heimstaden Bostad has plans to buy Akelius’ German, Swedish and Danish properties and a related SEK 24.8 billion ($330 million) equity raise, of which Heimstaden committed SEK 8.5 billion ($990 million).
Heimstaden has decided to increase its equity injection by SEK 3.7 billion ($430 million), bringing the total investment to SEK 12.2 billion ($1.42 billion). The investment will be financed with SEK 8.2 billion ($958 million).
“We are pleased to increase our investment, which will contribute to preserving our ownership position and support the continued financial strength of Heimstaden Bostad,” said Patrik Hall, CEO.
