The Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to perform the services of an independent non-discretionary board consultant.
The consultant will assist in developing investment policy, drafting, reviewing and assessing the execution of the board of trustees’ investment policy and selecting resources to perform investment function activities for the Native Hawaiian Trust Fund (NHTF).
As of June 30, 2022, the sovereign wealth fund had allocated roughly $17 million to private real assets, which includes real estate and infrastructure.
According to the RFP, candidates should have at least 10 years of advisory/working experience with an endowment, foundation, retirement system, corporate pension fund or investment organizations with assets of more than $1 billion. Candidates also must have investment knowledge, management and administrative experience across all financial asset classes, with a preference for alternative asset classes
