The $18 billion Hawaii Employees’ Retirement System (ERS) has reported a 15 percent positive return for the first half of fiscal year 2021, according to Hawaii’s Star Advertiser.
It’s the best performance for Hawaii since recording a 17.4 percent return in 2014 and a 20.7 percent return in 2011.
The ERS manages the wages of state teachers, firefighters and police officers.
