Convexity Properties announced it is using the Harbor platform for a tokenized REIT offering for investment in The Hub at Columbia, an off-campus student housing high-rise near the University of South Carolina.
“The launch of Harbor and the Hub at Columbia REIT marks the beginning of an exciting new model for real estate private equity, where investors can access institutional-grade properties in a more accessible and liquid form,” said Michael Solimene, founder and CEO of Trophy, a lead investor in the offering.
The offering represents $20 million of private equity in the 14-story, 500,000-square-foot facility. The property includes 260 apartment units, 4,000 square feet of street-level retail and 6,000 square feet of leased commercial space.
