Boston-based Hancock U.S. Real Estate Fund, an open-end fund managed by John Hancock Real Estate Finance Group, has received investments of more than $70 million over the past two years, forms filed with the SEC show.
The firm was unable to comment on its fundraising efforts.
Hancock U.S. Real Estate Fund reported a fundraise of $463 million from 19 investors in its latest SEC filing. In June 2017 when the fund was launched, it reported a capital raise of $389 million from 17 investors.
The fund follows a core-plus investment strategy, targeting apartment, office and industrial assets in large markets throughout the United States.
