H/2 Capital Partners raises $796m for real estate debt fund

H/2 Capital Partners has raised $795.5 million for its H/2 Core Real Estate Debt Fund, according to a filing with the SEC.

The open-end debt fund invests in real estate loans on core properties across the United States. The fund launched in January 2012.

Institutional investors in the fund include the Texas Municipal Retirement System, the State of Hawaii Employees’ Retirement System, the Indiana Public Retirement System
