Grosvenor Americas has plans to develop a 12-story, 156-unit project located at 1951 Shattuck Avenue, in downtown Berkeley, Calif.
“We believe urban infill sites such as 1951 Shattuck must be thoughtfully located and designed to enhance a neighborhood. A well-designed building can bring innovative amenities to a community, complementing the public realm and offering people the walkable and accessible neighborhoods a great city demands,” said Grosvenor in a statement.
Recently, the city’s Zoning Adjustments Board unanimously approved the project.
When completed, the building is planned to include 5,000 square feet commercial spaces, residential spaces and a 100-space parking garage. The 156 new homes will range from studios to three bedrooms, to meet the
