GRESB releases Infrastructure Assessment results

Amsterdam-based GRESB, a global environmental, social and governance (ESG) benchmark for capital markets, has released the results of its 2021 Infrastructure Assessment.

Despite the continued challenges posed by COVID-19, total participation in the Infrastructure Fund Assessment grew by 26 percent, to 149 funds completing the management component. The number of infrastructure funds completing both the management and performance components of the Infrastructure Fund Assessment grew by 41 percent to 106. The Infrastructure Benchmark now covers $343 billion of assets under management at the fund level and $738 billion of assets under management at the asset level.

The fund assessment now covers more than 30 percent of the IPE Real Assets Top 100 Infrastructure Investment Managers and more than a third of the Infrastructure Investor Top 50, based on participation with at least one fund.
