Greenbacker Capital Management (GCM), an energy transition–focused investment manager, has expanded its distribution and fundraising capabilities, particularly in markets where it is seeing increasing investor demand for sustainable investments.
The firm has hired Adam Evans and John Hennessey as senior members of the business development team to broaden Greenbacker’s ability to offer individual and institutional investors the opportunity to participate in the energy transition across all distribution channels.
The two join Greenbacker during a period of expansion and transformation, as its latest quarterly results highlighted substantial year-over-year growth in revenue and clean power production. As of the end of the second quarter, the company’s aggregate assets under management had reached $3.7 billion.
