Alphabet Inc.’s Google intends to invest $7 billion in offices and data centers across the United States this year, down from the $10 billion in 2020 and more than $13 billion in 2019.
The latest investment includes expansion plans for data centers in Nebraska, South Carolina and Texas. Its existing data center sites in Nebraska, Ohio, Texas and Nevada will be fully up and running in 2021.
