by Kali Persall

Goldman Sachs Group has raised more than $300 million for its West Street Global Infrastructure Partners IV, according to a recent filing with the SEC.

The fund launched in July and has brought at least five backers into its investor pool.

West Street Global Infrastructure Partners IV will invest in infrastructure assets such as transportation and water. Bloomberg reported in July that the vehicle has a fundraising target of $4 billion.
