Goldman Sachs adds new managing director/senior real estate strategist

Meagan Nichols has joined Goldman Sachs as a managing director, senior real estate strategist, client solutions and capital markets.

Nichols previously spent more than 13 years at Cambridge Associates, where she held various roles. She most recently served as partner, head of global real assets investment group, and was directly responsible for the strategic and tactical implementation of global real assets investment portfolios for pensions, private clients/family offices and sovereign wealth funds with portfolios ranging from $200 million to more than $30 billion. Prior to that, she served as deputy head COO, global investment manager research, and was a specialist private equity consultant during her early days at Cambridge.

Nichols has also held several board positions at pensions and foundations, and earlier in her career, she worked in private wealth management at Morgan Stanley.
