Ghelamco has sold its Warsaw Hub Development to Google for €583 million ($634 million). It is believed to be the largest single-asset office transaction in Central and Eastern Europe.
The Warsaw HUB is a multifunctional skyscraper complex developed in the dynamically developing part of Warsaw at Daszyńskiego Roundabout. The complex comprises 113,000 square meters (1.2 million square feet) in three sections: a hotel building with a 212-room The Crowne Plaza and 218-room Holiday Inn Express hotels, as well as two office towers connected with a common five-story podium. The hotel section will continue to be owned by Ghelamco. Google Poland occupies more than 20,000 square meters (215,000 square feet) of office space. Other tenants of the complex include Standard Chartered, Cushman & Wakefield, Getin Noble Bank and OmniOffice.
