by Andrea Zander

In November 2018, energy company innogy made the final investment decision for the construction of the Scioto Ridge wind farm, a 242-MW project in Hardin and Logan Counties, Ohio.

The total investment in the project will be more than $300 million.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy will supply 72 wind turbines. The order includes a 10-year service and maintenance agreement with Siemens Gamesa.

“We are excited to partner with Innogy Renewables on their first wind project in the U.S. Siemens Gamesa has a long-standing relationship with innogy: We have supplied over 1.2 GW of onshore and offshore installations globally,” said José Antonio Miranda, CEO of onshore Americas at SGRE.
