Argentine power company Genneia has plans to make a $250 million investment to build two solar farms in the province of Mendoza in west central Argentina, with a combined capacity of 273 megawatts (MW).
Located in the western region of Mendoza, the investment will be executed between 2024 and 2025 and comprises the construction of a 93MW and a 180MW solar park, with $90 million and $160 million investments, respectively.
Earlier this year, Genneia achieved a milestone by exceeding 1 gigawatt (1,004 MW) of installed capacity, a first in Argentina.
