FSI names new head of global infrastructure investments

First Sentier Investors (FSI), known as First State Investments outside Australia, has appointed Niall Mills as head of global infrastructure investments, based in London.

Mills joined FSI as a partner in the European infrastructure business in 2008. Prior to that, he held senior roles at Southern Water, Honeywell Novar Projects, Bechtel and North West Water Engineering, according to FSI’s website.

He will succeed Perry Clausen, who was recently promoted to the role of global CIO, according to Money Management.

FSI is the standalone investment management business of Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group. The firm manages more than A$228.5 billion ($151 billion) in assets on behalf of institutional investors, pension funds, wholesale distributors, investment platforms, and financial advisers and their clients worldwide.
