Fresno County commits $25m to both PIMCO and ACORE funds

The Fresno County (Calif.) Employees Retirement System has committed $50 million to data center and real estate funds managed by PIMCO and ACORE Capital, respectively.

PIMCO European Data Centre Opportunity Fund received $25 million for its closed-end, opportunistic strategy that will build hyperscale data center facilities in Europe, including Madrid, Milan, Berlin, Zurich, Warsaw, Athens and cities in the Nordics. This fund aims to raise $2.3 billion (€2 billion). Earlier in 2025, the Stanislaus County (Calif.) Employees’ Retirement System committed $19.8 million (€17 million) to this fund.
