Folium Capital, a private equity investor focused on the sustainable management of forest and agriculture assets, has launched a regenerative natural-resources fund with a target of $500 million.
Folium Fund III will invest in agriculture and forestry across carefully selected geographies on four continents. It aims to maximize return potential by optimizing land use across both asset classes, while explicitly positioning the fund to provide a positive contribution toward climate-mitigation efforts in a manner that is accretive to investor returns.
Folium Fund III represents the firm’s first combination of agriculture, forests and carbon optionality into a single investment vehicle.
