Florida pension fund hires two managers for global infra portfolio

The $152 million Pensacola (Fla.) General Pension and Retirement Fund has selected Cohen & Steers and Lazard Asset Management to jointly manage a portfolio focused on global infrastructure.

The fund could not be reached to comment on the recent hires at the time of publication.

The managers will replace the previous master limited partners Salient Partners and Westwood Holdings Group, who were the sole MLPs for the portfolios as of September 2018. According to a September 2018 investment report — the most recent report listed on Pensacola’s website — Salient managed a portfolio valued at $2.6 million and Westwood managed a portfolio valued at $2.4 million.

Details about the selection process for the new hires could not be found at the time of publication.
