Bill Pearce has been appointed managing director at First Avenue, a global private funds placement agent and investment advisory firm.
Pearce brings more than 13 years of experience in alternative assets and asset management, with a primary focus on private real assets, to the role.
In his new role, Pearce will be based in First Avenue’s New York office and will manage the Midwest sales side of the business.
Pearce previously worked as a director on AMP Capital’s North American distribution team, raising capital and advising clients across AMP’s infrastructure platforms. Before that, he was responsible for fundraising and investor relations at First Reserve, where he was also charged with planning and executing marketing strategies for the company’s energy infrastructure and private equity funds.
