The Firemen’s Annuity and Benefit Fund of Chicago seeks executive director
The Firemen’s Annuity and Benefit Fund of Chicago is seeking an executive director to lead the $1.14 billion fund.
In a job posting on the Illinois Government Finance Officers Association’s website, the pension fund said the ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of strategic leadership skills, financial expertise and administrative acumen. The candidate will also have knowledge of and experience with pension fund investment structures.
As of Dec. 31, 2020, the pension fund had a 7.6 percent allocation to real estate against an 8 percent target, according to a recent performance report.
