Marcus Sperber, a former BlackRock executive, has launched a real estate investment and advisory business, NorthCroft Capital, together with David Bearman, a founding partner of Firefly Capital.
The company’s investment arm will focus on opportunistic strategies on behalf of high-net-worth individuals and institutions.
Sperber left BlackRock as head of the EMEA real estate business and the portfolio manager of BlackRock’s U.K. property fund in 2019. He joined Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in 2002, prior to its merger with BlackRock in 2006.
