Evoke Advisors closes industrial real estate fund

by Kali Persall

Evoke Industrial Real Estate Fund I, a closed-end industrial fund managed by Evoke Advisors, closed in late 2021 with more than $109.6 million of capital commitments.

The vehicle had a fundraising target of $110 million, according to the IREI.Q database.

Los Angeles-based Evoke Advisors focuses on identifying opportunities that have an asymmetric risk/reward profile (upside potential that outweighs the downside), according to the firm’s website. Evoke makes tactical shifts in asset allocations based on changing market conditions, seeking to minimize losses during down markets and maximize gains during up markets. The firm’s alternative investments platform seeks to take advantage of market dislocations and sector-specific themes, identifying strategies that offer attractive returns with a low correlation to public markets.

Fund I will invest in industrial properties in the United States.
