Europa hires Aqil Nagji from Patrizia as director, fund management

Europa has strengthened its investment management team by appointing Aqil Nagji as director, fund management. 

Nagji will be based in London and work initially as deputy fund manager alongside Simon Hooper, who is retiring at the end of the year, to ensure an orderly handover before taking over Hooper’s responsibilities as fund manager.  

Nagji joins Europa after more than five years at Patrizia, where he was a fund manager overseeing both value-added and core strategies. Prior to Patrizia, he was a financial analyst at the Toronto and New York Stock Exchange–listed Granite Real Estate Investment Trust, having previously spent from 2015 to 2018 at Deloitte.
