ESR Cayman has begun construction of the first phase of ESR Higashi Ogishima Distribution Center in Japan’s Greater Tokyo metropolitan area.
Scheduled for completion in March 2023, the nine-story ESR Higashi Ogishima DC – Phase 1 is one of Japan’s tallest distribution centers. With a gross floor area of 365,385 square meters (3.9 million square feet), the double-ramped, high-throughput facility has been master-planned around the most premium specifications and standards. Included in the cutting-edge design is an array of innovative, technologically advanced and industry leading features, many of which are the firsts of their kind for any logistics facility in the world.
