ESG label sharply falling out of favor

Asset management firms are backing away from touting their consideration of environmental, social and governance criteria in their investment processes, reported Financial Advisor, sourcing the Index Industry Association.

ESG criteria for equities fell to about 60 percent this year, from about 80 percent in 2023. The percentage considering ESG for fixed income and commodities strategies had an even sharper decline.
