ERS Hawaii launches search for general investment consultant

The Employees’ Retirement System of the State of Hawaii (ERS Hawaii) has launched an RFP seeking a general investment consultant.

Applicants must be based in the United States, be a registered investment adviser and must have been in the business for a minimum of seven years, according to the RFP. The applicant also must provide investment consulting services to at least one public retirement system defined benefit client with more than $5 billion of assets.

The primary consultant assigned to the ERS account will have a minimum of 10 years of experience providing domestic and international investment consulting services to public pension plans.

The deadline to submit proposals is Oct. 7.
