Equitix has acquired seven additional stakes in Building Schools for the Future (BSF) infrastructure projects from International Public Partnerships.
This acquisition further consolidates Equitix’s majority stakes in the seven BSF projects, which include Barking & Dagenham BSF, Barnsley BSF Phase One, Barnsley BSF Phase Two, Barnsley SPV Phase Three, Cambridgeshire BSF, Derbyshire BSF and Essex BSF Phase One.
The portfolio covers 15 secondary schools and colleges, including a special educational needs (SEN) school, across England, serving more than 18,000 pupils. The projects are underpinned by government-backed long-term inflation-linked income and have long-term senior debt.
Equitix is one of the largest providers of public-private partnership social infrastructure assets in the United Kingdom.
