Equitix, an international investor, developer and fund manager in infrastructure, has appointed Simon Davy as managing director of investments in the United Kingdom.
Davy is an experienced senior investor who has actively worked with other institutional investors, company management teams and advisers on direct stakes in corporate investments. He joins the firm from Local Pension Partnerships Investment where he spent eight years, most recently as head of real assets. During that time, he managed and grew the team covering infrastructure and real estate asset classes with approximately £7.5 billion ($9.7 billion) in committed and invested capital.
Prior to LPPI, Davy worked in the corporate finance and debt capital markets businesses at Bank of America Merrill Lynch for more than 15 years.
