The real assets division of U.S. investment manager BlackRock has entered into an agreement to sell five operating wind farms and a single solar park in the United Kingdom to Equitix Investment Management.
The sales price was not disclosed.
This is the fourth realization in the past three months for BlackRock Real Assets’ renewable power platform.
Recently, BlackRock Real Assets sold four operating solar projects in Ontario, Canada, to insurance firm Ullico for an undisclosed price.
The transaction with BlackRock marks Ullico’s sixth investment in the renewable energy sector.
