EPISO 3 sells mixed-use property in U.K.

Tristan Capital Partner’s European Property Investors Special Opportunities 3 Fund has completed the sale of The Cube, a mixed-use building located in the city center of Birmingham, England. The sales price was not disclosed.

This was the first acquisition made by the fund, says Jean-Philippe Blangy, managing director – head of asset management for Tristan Capital Partners.

The 500,000-square-foot, 25-story class A building houses a mix of restaurants and bars, a boutique hotel, luxury spa and gym, as well as apartments and office space. Birmingham’s central business district, main railway station and International Conference Centre are all within walking distance of The Cube.

Tristan’s EPISO 3, together with Neil Edington, partner at EDG Property, acquired The Cube from Lone Star Funds in December 2012.
