Employees are experiencing burnout and want to return to the office

Employees who normally work in an office are experiencing an increased amount of virtual burnout and are increasingly wanting to get back to their official places of work.

A JLL survey conducted by CSA Research in March 2021 of 3,317 office workers in companies with more than 100 employees, spanning all major industries and 10 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom and Japan, has found 33 percent of employees do not want to work from home in the future. The figure is up from 28 percent in October 2020.

In further signs that work from home fatigue is growing, JLL has found 61 percent of the workforce questioned in the study are craving real human interactions with colleagues, while 48 percent feel under pressure, exhausted by a massive workload at home.
