Elecnor wins $17.8m contract to build Mexican wind park

Elecnor, a Spanish construction and engineering company, has locked in a $17.8 million contract to construct a 30-megawatt wind park in Baja California, Mexico, according to Renewables Now.

The company will be responsible for engineering and constructing roads, wind turbine platforms, substations, and transmission and communication lines.

The San Matias Wind Farm Project will consist of 3.8-megawatt wind turbines and span an area of approximately 250 hectares (617.7 acres).

Elecnor specializes in a variety of infrastructure sectors including power generation, railways, telecommunications, electricity, water, and gas and energy maintenance and efficiency.
