DWS has acquired 100 percent of the shares in the Swedish onshore wind farm Heather Wind AB on behalf of its European infrastructure investment strategy.
The onshore wind farm in Ljungbyholm, Sweden, has been in operation since June 2021 and has a total capacity of 48 megawatts peak from 12 Nordex turbines. The electricity generated is used to supply private households and commercial customers.
DWS is acquiring the asset from Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust, one of the largest renewable energy investors in Europe. The operator of the onshore wind farm is renewable-energy developer OX2.
