DWS raises additional capital for open-end industrial fund

DWS, a Europe-based global asset management company, has raised additional capital for its open-ended real estate fund, RREEF Core Plus Industrial Fund, according to a filing with the SEC. The firm did not comment on its fundraising efforts. DWS has raised a total of $463.55 million in equity commitments to date. RREEF Core Plus Industrial Fund is a global open-ended real estate fund that will mainly invest in industrial properties. The fund will follow a core-plus investment strategy. The firm launched the fund in 2017.

The fund has received commitments from multiple investors, including $125 million from the $48.92 billion Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association.

As of Dec. 31, 2017, DWS had roughly $843 billion of invested assets and more than 900 investments.
