Dutch healthcare property fund receives its first foreign institutional investor

Apollo Healthcare Property Fund, a core senior housing fund managed by Hartelt Fund Management, has attracted its first foreign institutional investor.

The name of the investor was not disclosed, but Victor Gulickx, fund director for Apollo Healthcare Property Fund, disclosed in an email that the investor is a German pension scheme.

The investment amount remains unknown.

The commitment will allow the fund to further grow its investments in both new and existing healthcare properties in the Netherlands. Gulickx noted the fund is expecting other investors to enter and already has a significant pipeline. For that reason, Hartfelt has increased the fund target to €500 million ($544 million) for the next two years.
