Douglas Doughty has joined Bain Capital Real Estate as a managing director. Doughty will work closely with the senior team on key strategic growth initiatives and investments with a focus on expanding Bain Capital Real Estate’s capabilities.
Previously, Doughty served as managing director and head of strategy and special situations at Fortress Investment Group’s global real estate investment team, where his responsibilities included the creation of new product lines and the identification and management of bespoke investments, including co-investments, club deals and separately managed accounts. Before his time at Fortress, Doughty was global head of business and client strategy at JPMorgan Asset Management’s global real assets group.
