by Jody Barhanovich

Dome Equities, a New York City–based private equity real estate investment manager, has held a $134 million final close for Dome U.S. Multifamily Fund II, reaching its equity fundraising target.

Dome U.S. Multifamily Fund II had raised $67.5 million as of May 2016. The fund, which opened in February 2016, will invest in value-added multifamily assets in the United States.

According to its website, Dome “acquires middle-market multifamily apartment properties below their replacement cost, seeks to implement best-in-class management practices and invests strategic capital to improve property operations.”

In its most recent transactions, Dome acquired Avana Southgate, a class A apartment community located in south-central Louisville, Ky., and Vista Pointe, an institutional-grade apartment community located in the Valley Ranch master-planned community of Irving, Texas.
