District of Columbia approves $50m follow-on commitment to Tiger Infrastructure Partners

by Kali Persall

The District of Columbia Retirement Board has approved a re-up commitment of up to $50 million to Tiger Infrastructure Partners III, a U.S. infrastructure fund managed by Tiger Infrastructure Partners.

Tiger Infrastructure opened its third fund to investors in September. The vehicle is focused on infrastructure businesses primarily in the communications, energy and transportation sectors in North America and Europe.

An equity fundraising target was not disclosed; however, the previous fund in the series, Tiger Infrastructure Partners II, had a $600 million target.
