Digital Realty, a global provider of data center, colocation and interconnection solutions, together with Ascenty, a Digital Realty and Brookfield Infrastructure joint venture company, have opened four new data centers in the greater São Paulo, Brazil, metropolitan area, the companies said Thursday.
Located in Jundiai, Hortolandia and Paulinia, the data centers are all interconnected on the Ascenty fiber network. Together, they add approximately 24 megawatts of capacity.
The centers are fully-let, according to Digital Realty.
Ascenty owns 17 data centers in operation and or under construction, all connected by a proprietary 4,500-kilometer fiber network. Ascenty is the largest data service provider in Latin America.
