DIF Capital Partners has acquired the 117-megawatt Peralta I/II onshore wind project in Uruguay from Enercon.
The project has been operational since October 2015 and has a 20-year, 100-megawatt power-purchase agreement in place with UTE, Uruguay’s state-owned utility.
Enercon will continue to maintain the wind farm under a long-term agreement, and SEG-Heliotec will continue to deliver asset management services.
According to DIF, this is the second Uruguayan Enercon project that the company has acquired, following the acquisition of the 50-megawatt Cerro Grande project in 2019.
