by Andrea Zander

Developers Terra, GFO Investments and New Valley have plans to develop 48-story apartment community in Miami Beach. The 280-unit residential asset is expected to be Miami Beach’s tallest building at 519 feet.

The project received a $345 million construction loan, and it is scheduled to be completed in 2023.

Amenities at the tower will include an amenity deck with two swimming pools, a restaurant, sunset viewing lounge areas, a resort-style spa and a modern fitness center with outdoor exercise areas. The tower also will feature a grand lobby with a gourmet café as well as a Sky Club lounge with a second fitness center, a private dining room, and a building concierge offering in-room dining and other specialized services for residents.

The project includes the development of Canopy Park, a three-acre public park offering green space, pedestrian and bike paths, an outdoor gym, a dog run, children’s playgrounds and public art displays. Construction of the park
